Celebrate the longest day of the year with poets

Quicksilver Mine Co. Gallery in Forestville is welcoming in summer  poetically. On Thursday, June 21 the gallery will host six poets and authors in the Sculpture Garden. Led by the Poet Laureate of Sonoma County, Bill Vartnaw, Elizabeth Herron, Guy Biederman, Fran Claggett, Ed Coletti, and Armando Garcia Davila will read from their works. Celebrating the longest day of the year, this event is part of a on-going Quicksilver Mine Co. series of literary and cultural events. The event is free although donations are gratefully accepted. It may be summer, but itr may be cool, bring sweaters. Quicksilver Mino Co. is located at 6671 Front St. in Forestville. Call 887-0799 for more information.
