Chinese knowledge for western ailments

California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville has a timely workshop coming up called “Treating Colds and Flu from a Chinese Perspective Using Western Herbs.” With the cold and flu season rapidly approaching Shad Reinstein from CSHS will conduct the workshop Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. He will discuss the  functions of the lung, how it relates to immunity, and the pathogens that make people ill. Medicine Show and Herbal Bazaar


This gala event presents the culmination of a semesters worth of medicine making and herbal endeavors by our full-time students . Come and taste herbal teas, tinctures, elixirs and foods. Meet the staff and students and learn about what we do here. Parking is limited. Please register early!
