California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville has a timely workshop coming up called “Treating Colds and Flu from a Chinese Perspective Using Western Herbs.” With the cold and flu season rapidly approaching Shad Reinstein from CSHS will conduct the workshop Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. He will discuss the functions of the lung, how it relates to immunity, and the pathogens that make people ill.
