Job: Environmental/ Kennel Technician

VCA Forestville Animal Hospital is currently looking to add an Environmental/ Kennel Technician to our team!The Environmental Technician position is comprised of, but not limited to, the following responsibilities: - Walking dogs- Maintaining a clean and healthy environment for boarding and hospitalized patients- Bathing cats and dogs- Maintaining the hospital's laundry stock- Completing daily checklists designed to maintain a clean hospital environment- Communicating with the medical staff about any changes in patients' eating, drinking, urinating, defecating, or behavior- Taking direction from the management and medical staff- Occasionally helping to restrain animalsThis position will be a Monday through Friday position, 30 hours a week (potential for more), usually scheduled in the afternoons and evenings. Occasional Saturdays may be required as needed. Please note that this position is a stable position maintaining our hospital and caring for our hospital.
